Mozambique's health system is led by the Ministry of Health (MISAU), coordinating central hospitals, a provincial hospital in each province, health centers, and national vaccination and HIV/AIDS programs.
Maputo Central Hospital (HCM) is the main public referral hospital in the capital, with 24-hour emergency services. Each province has a provincial hospital for more complex cases.
